Trinity gay, the teenage daughter of Tyson Gay, the second fastest man in history, was shot dead in a restaurant car park in Kentucky. Police were called to the scene close to the university of Kentucky campus in Lexington at about 4am after reports of a shootout involving two vehicles. Trinity Gay was a sprinter at Lafayette high school in Lexington, where her fathers potential began to emerge. Julian Tackett, the Kentucky high school athletic association commissioner, said in a tweet that he was shocked by Trinity’s death ‘a life of such potential cut so tragically short sympathies to Tyson and entire family.” he wrote.
